Went there on my birthday. The staff acknowledges the customers as people not dollar signs. Very friendly and of course food was as it's best.

Great place for family dinner or celebration. It's noisy but fun. You will not leave hungry.

Ive been to Kyoto's many times and never have i had a bad experience. The food is always great and staff always friendly. The only area i would improve on would be the wait time, from sitting down until actually eating can be a little long at times, but Nothing that would stop me from going.

A coworker brought me here, and I was not disappointed! Don't let the outdated design ruin how delicious this food is! I got the steak and shrimp hibachi, and I would definitely recommend this to you.

This place is so cool they cook the food right in front of you! the fried rice is amazing an the sushi is very good as well are cook Remy was great if your thinking of trying this place out you won't be dispointed!

Wow! The customer service has always been so amazing!!!! We love this place and have been coming here for the last 11 year since our kids were born and they have always treated us like family!

This will always be my favorite place for date nights. My husband and I share the dinner for two and it's always amazing. The leftovers are amazing, even eaten cold. The chefs are very pleasant and will conversate with you the whole time and make it a really fun, unique dining experience. For sushi, I highly recommend the Ernie Roll, Austin Roll, abd the Marilyn Monroe.

Went here for Valentine's Day and it was perfect! We were put at a table with 2 other couples and everyone was so great. Staff was so funny and friendly. This is one of my top picks in Boise.

A shabby place for a Japanese restaurant. Operators refused to tell me where they were from originally, which raises suspicion. Quantity is abysmal. Completely overpriced. Service is alright.

Been going here for over 10 years. My favorite for good sushi. The owners are friendly and the staff is always awesome. Can sit in the sushi section or at the family style grill tables. Either way the Marilyn and spicy Johnny's are the way to go here.

The food is amazing. I love the food being cooked right at our table. I looked around the restaurant and everyone was smiling and laughing, even small children. It's kind of dark inside but I think it completely closes you off from the outside world and makes for a better experience.

Whether it's been a month or 3 years, I'm always greeted and remembered. I usually eat on the sushi side ( the no 9 and Spicy Johnny are favorites) but the hibachi is definitely a good choice. Always a recommendation to friends.

Great food and service. I really like the options of sushi or the table side presentation I am the only one in family who will eat sushi so we can get food here that pleases everybody. I have been with a group as large as 30 and as few as 2 of us. No matter the size of the group service was awesom

Great place to have a good dinner for a date night or birthday! We just went for a friends birthday and one couple was there for homecoming and others were there for date night. Very good food and fun!

Great place to eat. A bit on the pricey side for dinner but fun and enjoyable to have your meal cooked in front of you. Very good chefs who have a sense of humor and keep the table entertained and engaged. They’ll build an onion volcano for you on your birthday. Yum yum!
